Customer Reviews: Great little reelJuly 28, 2010 BMXER(nc usa) I always wanted to try a trigger spin reel. Can't beat a Zebco for price and reliability. The reel even came with line. Stuck it on a pole went out fishing worked great. Nice quality and finish. It's not the smoothest casting reel out there, for the money it's a great reel.
Seat too smallJune 24, 2010 Lyle(Lincoln, NE USA) This is a nifty looking little reel. I have not had it long but am hopeful the reel will resist corrosion. Casting and retrieving operation is very smooth. Because of efficiency of casting, my kids (ages 9, 10, & 12) prefer this reel over conventional spincasting reels. My only significant disappointment with the reel is the size of the seat as it is too short to fit most cost-effective retail rods. It took a lot of looking to find a budget-friendly rod which would support this reel. Consequently, rod options/choices were limited; I ended up purchasing a rod who's design was not my first choice.
