The Ross Evolution is an incredible piece of machinery!!!!!!!!!!!!It is smooth and easy to use. I am a 70 year old grandmother, who at 65 took up fly fishing and I feel I need the very best to learn with at this time in my life. This reel is the very best. I feel we should buy the very best we can afford and I did and I am so glad. Cannot say enough about this reel.
