I purchased this item based on the description.
Unfortunately I had to return it as it does not cut fishing line.
The pliers and handle have a nice feel so if line cutting is
not important, it should suit you fine.

ONCE I OPENED IT TO SEE THE TOOL FLEX IT DIDNT CLIP IN AND BOY I AM HARD HEADED SO BELIEVE ME I TRIED FORCING IT BUT I HAVENT USED IT YET BUT IT SEEMS ARIGHT FOR THE PRICE ITS A GIFT FOR MY UNCLE BUT DON T WANNA GIVE IT TO HIM NOW SINCE ITS NOT COMPLETE LIKE IT DOESNT FUNCTION TO ITS FULL ASSUMED CAPABILITY

The pliers are nice, I like the mechanism that locks them shut when not in use. I am somewhat dissatified that the line cutter on the pliers does not work. I would not have purchased them if I had known of this short coming in advance. The description does say "line cutter", don't believe it!

Excellent pliars for taking hooks out of channel cat fish and pickerel. Also, it didnt rust in my tackle box so was twice as happy.

Excellent for the fisherman/woman who don't want to carry extra tools with them. Found it to be substantial in quality.
